Same Page Family Mediation and Caregiver Coaching is a small business based in Western Massachusetts, started by Dana Lee Mengwasser. The Same Page mission is to help families hone in on their values and caregiving practices. When aligned, families raise children with a nurturing balance of both limits and love. Same Page is devoted to helping families break cycles of intergenerational trauma by becoming respectful, reflective, and responsive caregivers, prepared to handle the challenges that raising children throws their way.

Dana Lee Mengwasser (they/them)

Dana is a parent coach and mediator in Western Massachusetts with over 20 years of experience working with children, youth, and families. Kids are a tremendous light in Dana’s life, and they have served in various roles as a private in-home nanny, preschool teacher, youth program manager, residential counselor, summer camp coordinator, and executive director of a youth and family service agency. In addition to their work with Same Page Family, Dana is currently an Early Childhood Behavior Specialist for a local education collaborative. Their passion is helping adults attune to youth, understand what they are trying to communicate, and reduce challenging behaviors by shifting adult behaviors.
Dana has been a mediator in Massachusetts since 2015. As a mediator, they are SJC (Supreme Judicial Court) Qualified, and currently provide mediation services locally in small claims court. Their background also includes work in peer based mental health programs as a counselor and facilitator. Dana graduated from Hampshire College where they studied child development, creative pedagogy, and psychology. Their Division III thesis project was on conflict and resolution in non-profit mental health programs.
